Dr. Nguyen, with over 30 years in practice as a foot/ankle surgeon and experience as C.E.O. of POL, a central orthotic lab, has successfully designed and tested the P.O.L. 15-Minute Custom orthotics, which have been proven to be the most effective modality in orthotic therapy. Once personalized to the patient’s feet using Dr. Nguyen’s in-shoe fitting process, the orthotics are a mirror image of the foot at neutral, realigning the foot and ankle to the best neutral position and accurately redistributing pressure under the plantar surface of the foot.

The P.O.L. Advance-Pro and Heel-Pro Orthotics feature a customizable, medical-grade fiberglass composite orthotic shell sandwiched between a soft top cover and a more rigid EVA bottom layer. Once activated with water, the POL orthotic will retain the shape of the wearer's foot permanently.

P.O.L. Advance-Pro and Heel-Pro Orthotic Combination Kit

The Advance-Pro and Heel-Pro should be used together, with the Heel-Pro placed under the Advance-Pro, for optimal orthotic therapy. The Advance-Pro Orthotics, with a built-in metatarsal pad and heel spur accommodation, are the best choice, especially for plantar fasciitis and general foot pain. The Heel-Pro Orthotics, with a built-in flat heel post, provide additional control for severe pronation and easy fabrication of forefoot accommodations for pressure offloading.

On-site, custom-made accommodations have never been easier! Just cut away the areas that need to be offloaded on the Heel-Pro, then place the Advance-Pro on top of the Heel-Pro. Additional accommodations, such as cut-outs under the metatarsal heads, Morton/Reverse Morton extensions, and metatarsal bars, are custom-fabricated items that doctors or medical assistants can quickly and easily make in their offices.
