The Heel-Pro, with a full-length top cover and a built-in flat heel post, is designed to support the Advance-Pro Orthotics and facilitate the fabrication of custom accommodations under the forefoot. It is placed under the Advance-Pro to stabilize the ankle and rebalance pressure under the forefoot. This application is very effective in patients with body weight over 160 lbs., severe pronation, and hyperkeratotic lesions under the forefoot.
Customized Accommodations available
To make custom accommodations, simply cut and remove the unwanted portion of the forefoot. Then place the Avance-Pro on top of the Heel-Pro. Custom accommodations such as cut-outs under the metatarsal heads, Morton/Reverse Morton Extensions, and metatarsal bars can be made easily and quickly in your office.
Ideal for:
- Patients with one or more of the following conditions: body weight over 160lbs, severe pronation, and needing forefoot custom accommodations.
- Patients requiring more than one pair of orthotics
- Patients requiring a temporary orthotics solution (during repair or delivery delays)
- Patients paying cash or with limited budgets
P.O.L. offers a line of personalized medical orthotic insoles (Rx custom orthotics) that can be adjusted within just 15 minutes, providing support in correcting structural and functional abnormalities of the foot.
Unlike over-the-counter insoles, custom orthotics conform precisely to the shape of the foot, supporting the arch, redistributing pressure, realigning bone structure, and restoring the natural curvature of the foot — resulting in significant pain relief. They are an effective tool for the treatment of the following conditions:
- Flat feet
- Plantar fasciitis
- Heel spurs
- Knee pain due to misalignment
With its proprietary water-activated technology, aerospace-grade composite materials, and auto-molding design, P.O.L. offers a combination of clinical effectiveness and maximum convenience.
The product is FDA-registered in the United States and utilizes patented molding technology. A study conducted by the University of Tokyo confirmed its effectiveness to be comparable to lab-made orthotics — but faster, more cost-efficient, and done on-site.
